Edgewood Therapy

Peter was born in 1958 in industrial South Yorkshire. His background is in software and for the best part of 25 years he worked as a software engineer in various positions whilst still harbouring an interest in hypnosis. After being made redundant some years ago he was freed to take up that long held interest.

Peter has acquired a Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the Chrysalis school of psychotherapy. His professional development continues with studies in counselling and bereavement support work.

The profession of hypnotherapy has a number of professional bodies to govern and standardise the practice and ethical constraints placed upon its members.

Peter is registered with the Hypnotherapy Society as a licentiate member, LHS. He is also included on the Hypnotherapist Register.

Therapist
Peter

Peter has been married to Chris since 1984 and has three children born in 1990, 1995 and 1997. He has lived in Southbourne since nearly the end of 1983.

Peter has yet to decide upon a specialisation in the therapy business but is interested in depression and phobias, especially agorophobia since this condition is so restricting and damaging to the sufferer's lifestyle.

For relaxation and recuperative activities Peter likes to get into a boat of practically any type and just explore, preferably inland waterways, going out to sea is great but not so relaxing.

He wields a Badminton racket with less than total incompetence and enjoys getting stuck into a book. Even or perhaps especially a book on therapy of some kind.
