Edgewood Therapy is a private practice providing therapy using hypnosis
to help anyone who is troubled by unwanted thoughts or behaviour.
This means any problem from phobias of whatever
type and there are hundreds of different examples. It means problems of diminished confidence or anxiety which can seriously
impair your quality of life or minimise your ability to deal with life's challenges.
It also means problems with habits such as nail biting, smoking or eating more or less than is needed for ideal nourishment
of your body.
Other common reasons to seek the help of a hypnotherapist
might include exam or driving test nerves, stage fright (a type of Topophobia) or simply a fear of public speaking (Glossophobia).
If you have a phobia and you don't have a name for it then either email me
or fill in an information request on the "Information Request and Feedback" page and I can return an email including
a file which lists hundreds of phobias and their proper name. Maybe you can feel better about having a phobia that has a name
already?
My practice is in a residential area in my family home.
You may well be greeted at the door by my wife or one of my young daughters who have been specially trained to keep noise
levels to a minimum.
